About the Authors
Khristina Lew is a great-granddaughter of Vasyl Nahirny. She worked as a photojournalist covering Ukraine in the 1990s and today is a technical writer for the International Finance Corporation in Washington, D.C.
Vasyl' Slobodian is a senior scholar at the Western Ukrainian Restoration Institute, a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, and author of numerous articles and monographs on Ukrainian sacral architecture.
Natalka Filevych is an archivist of Ukraine’s leading artistic and cultural figures at the Lviv National Art Gallery, and author of numerous publications.
